Tube measured-stage record
Tube Cutting Measured Cycle-Time Ledger
Record timed feed/cut, piercing, rotation/indexing, loading, unloading, inspection, and setup. Separate one-time work from repeated pieces and reject overlapping intervals before summing recorded activity.
Content reviewed 2026-11-02. Verify the applicability of each source before using a value in a quote.
Input to record
Observed start/end seconds, stage and repetition basis, representative piece count, exact machine/fixture/part scope, and timing evidence with concurrency review.
Output to carry forward
Summed saved one-time, per-piece, and batch activity in seconds/hours plus a CSV. No feed, pierce-time preset, or complete elapsed-time guarantee is supplied.
Measured stage ledger
Use a representative repeated piece and separate batch-only activities. Enter measured start/end seconds on a common origin within each basis: one clock for the repeated cycle, another for batch-only work. Adjacent intervals may share endpoints; overlapping intervals in the same basis are rejected. For simultaneous feed/rotation or handling, enter one combined interval under Setup / other and describe it in the evidence.
Record observed intervals, with one common timing origin for each basis. No stage times are supplied.
| Stage | Basis | Start → end / duration (s) | Evidence | Actions |
|---|
Add valid intervals, enter a positive whole piece count, and confirm nonoverlap to calculate.
Sum = one-time seconds + repeated seconds × quantity. This is recorded activity time, not a prediction of complete elapsed time. Unrecorded gaps, waiting, operations, and overlapping production resources require a separate review. Do not add a controller’s complete-cycle total to its component intervals. Use the hourly-rate builder to review cost per productive hour; this page does not send tube geometry into a flat-sheet cutting model.
Local draft only; refreshing clears records. Export before leaving. No machine speed, pierce time, fixture-safe motion, or productivity claim is supplied.
Sources and scope
Content reviewed 2026-11-02. A documentation reference supports the stated method or data only; it does not approve settings on another machine.
- BLM GROUP LT7 technical information
Source inspected 2026-11-02; publication date not stated. LT7 power/head, material categories, and configuration-dependent loading/unloading lengths. No grade, wall, feed, nozzle, focus, gas-flow, or pierce-time values are supplied by this reference.
- LaserCalc Pro methodology
Supports using source documents and measured shop records. Geometry, length accounting, and recorded-stage summation here are authored deterministic worksheets, not OEM cutting algorithms or tube productivity benchmarks.

| Reference | Source statement / method | Record / limit | Source | Applicability | Confidence | Inspected / reviewed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Machine and fixture boundary | The LT7 technical page describes automatic loading/unloading configurations and the 3D Tube Cutter head; it does not provide stage durations for this worksheet. | Record installed machine, controller, head, chucks/jaws/supports, loader/unloader, and CAM revision before timing. | BLM GROUP LT7 technical information | Hardware context only; no public cycle, pierce, or motion values copied. | Verified hardware scope; cycle requires measured evidence. | 2026-11-02 |
| Measured stages | Capture feed/cut, pierce, rotation/index, loading, unloading, inspection, and setup/other only when present in the actual route. | Record elapsed start/end seconds on a common origin for each repetition basis and attach timer/controller evidence. | LaserCalc Pro authored stage-record method; shop timing required | Representative machine/fixture/part and actual required route. | No stage duration or feed default supplied. | 2026-11-02 |
| Nonoverlap rule | Overlapping saved intervals within the same basis are rejected. Concurrent activities must be recorded as one combined interval. | Confirm batch-only work occurs outside the repeated cycle. Never add a controller complete-cycle total to its component intervals. | LaserCalc Pro authored interval-accounting rule | Sum of occupied intervals, not a multi-resource scheduling or concurrency model. | Interval overlap checked within basis; cross-basis relationship is user-confirmed. | 2026-11-02 |
| Repeated activity total | Recorded batch seconds = one-time seconds + recorded seconds per piece × identical piece count. Hours = seconds ÷ 3,600. | Classify bar/batch loading correctly. Different part mixes or changed fixtures require separate representative records. | LaserCalc Pro authored deterministic stage sum | No unrecorded gap, waiting, acceleration, travel, or handling prediction. | Measured-input arithmetic; not complete elapsed-time guarantee. | 2026-11-02 |
| Timing example | Arithmetic only: one-time activity 120 s + repeated activity 12 s × 5 pieces = 180 s, or 0.05 h. | Example durations are not tested tube settings or a productivity claim. Replace them with observed intervals. | LaserCalc Pro authored worked arithmetic | Nonoverlapping recorded activities for the stated repetition only. | Calculated illustration, not machine performance. | 2026-11-02 |
Reference workflow
- Match the job, material, machine head, and quality requirement to a row.
- Confirm the source, review date, and confidence before copying the value into a quote worksheet.
- Use a measured result or current OEM record when the row is marked as required or unverified.
