Tube quality record

Tube Cutting Controlled Defect Checks

Use a symptom-specific tube review table, run one controlled test, and record the outcome against the drawing or job requirement. The page does not publish universal causes or process settings.

Content reviewed 2026-11-02. Verify the applicability of each source before using a value in a quote.

Input to record

Observed symptom, profile/material/lot, machine/head/fixture/support, CAM revision/datum, baseline evidence, one changed variable, fixed conditions, result and drawing criterion.

Output to carry forward

A held, repeated or escalated defect record with CSV evidence. No machine capability, tolerance, safety clearance, gas, speed, nozzle, focus or piercing value is inferred.

Controlled review sequence

  1. Preserve the original part, drawing/CAM revision, stock identity and observed evidence.
  2. Complete only the checks relevant to the selected symptom and choose one variable to change.
  3. Repeat a representative feature with fixed conditions and record raw results.
  4. Hold or escalate when the machine/fixture record, drawing requirement, safety procedure or evidence is missing.

Controlled defect record

Select the observed symptom, preserve the baseline, change one documented variable, and record the outcome against the drawing or job requirement. This worksheet does not diagnose a cause or choose a cutting setting.

Record remains HOLD until all evidence, criterion and reviewer fields are complete.

Incomplete records remain on hold. Inputs stay local and clear on refresh.

Sources and scope

Content reviewed 2026-11-02. A documentation reference supports the stated method or data only; it does not approve settings on another machine.

  • BLM GROUP LT7 overview

Lists supported profile families for a configured LT7. It does not diagnose defects or provide process settings.

  • BLM GROUP LT7 technical information

Describes configured machine, loading and handling context. It does not provide defect causes, gas, speed, nozzle, focus, fixture or tolerance values.

  • LaserCalc Pro authored diagnostic method

The table is a controlled-observation worksheet. It requires one changed variable, retained evidence and shop escalation; it is not an OEM troubleshooting procedure.

Reference workflow

  1. Match the job, material, machine head, and quality requirement to a row.
  2. Confirm the source, review date, and confidence before copying the value into a quote worksheet.
  3. Use a measured result or current OEM record when the row is marked as required or unverified.
