Feature-specific drawing ledger
Tube End Feature Review
Review holes, slots, notches, bevels, end proximity, and opposite-wall features against a specific drawing, CAM preview, machine/fixture record, and measured result. No universal tube feature minimum or manufacturing approval is supplied.
Content reviewed 2026-11-02. Verify the applicability of each source before using a value in a quote.
Input to record
Feature ID, exact profile/material/wall, drawing limits and datums, machine/fixture/CAM evidence, actual measurement, and reviewer.
Output to carry forward
Within/outside/hold status for each supplied drawing limit, with HOLD when required evidence is blank or unresolved.
Feature review ledger
Review the six feature categories against the drawing. Mark unused categories N/A with a drawing reference and reason; add rows for additional measured features. Each required row compares an actual measured value to explicit user-provided limits. Inputs stay local and clear on reload.
HOLD
6 unresolved or outside-limit feature checks. Machine, fixture, CAM, drawing, or reviewer evidence is incomplete.
At least one actual measurement and every applicable review field are required. This records your evidence; it does not verify an attached document or establish cut capability, strength, or machine approval.
Three separate decisions
- Can cut: confirm the exact machine/head/fixture/CAM record for the profile, material, wall, access, and feature.
- Meets dimensional requirement: compare a measured feature to explicit drawing limits in matching units.
- Meets strength or assembly requirement: use the responsible drawing/engineering requirement. A cut or dimension result does not prove strength, fit, or service performance.
The BLM pages linked above describe supported profile families and configured machine features. They do not provide the user’s feature minima, chuck/end-zone rules, or fixture approval. This page leaves those fields user-supplied and holds unresolved rows.
Sources and scope
Content reviewed 2026-11-02. A documentation reference supports the stated method or data only; it does not approve settings on another machine.
- BLM GROUP LT7 overview
Lists round, square, rectangular, open, and special profiles for a configured LT7. This is product information, not an operating/fixture manual or a universal profile approval.
- BLM GROUP LT7 technical information
Describes machine-specific supports and handling features. It does not provide the fixture clearances, clamping torque, rotation settings, feature minima, inspection tolerances, or approval procedures needed for your machine.
- LaserCalc Pro authored review method
The rotation equations and drawing-owned review ledgers are deterministic worksheets authored for this site. They preserve user-supplied drawing, CAM, fixture and measured evidence; they are not OEM limits, safety clearance, or manufacturing certification.

| Feature | Drawing record | Evidence to collect | Boundary | Source / method | Applicability | Confidence | Reviewed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hole | Diameter, location datum, wall/face, and specified dimensional limits | Machine/fixture review of access and intended wall; actual feature measurement | Do not infer minimum hole diameter or pierce clearance from wall thickness | LaserCalc Pro drawing/CAM review ledger; actual limits and approval evidence must be user-supplied | Exact drawing, material/profile, machine, fixture, CAM revision, and measured feature only | Review structure only; no sourced manufacturing minimum or machine approval | 2026-11-02 |
| Slot | Width, length, end shape, orientation, and specified dimensional limits | CAM path/face reference and machine/fixture review; actual slot measurement | No universal slot-width, web, or wall-thickness ratio is supplied | LaserCalc Pro drawing/CAM review ledger; actual limits and approval evidence must be user-supplied | Exact drawing, material/profile, machine, fixture, CAM revision, and measured feature only | Review structure only; no sourced manufacturing minimum or machine approval | 2026-11-02 |
| Notch | Notch contour, location, datum, and mating/assembly requirement | CAM/profile alignment and fixture evidence; actual notch measurement | Matching a numeric limit does not validate fit-up, strength, or support | LaserCalc Pro drawing/CAM review ledger; actual limits and approval evidence must be user-supplied | Exact drawing, material/profile, machine, fixture, CAM revision, and measured feature only | Review structure only; no sourced manufacturing minimum or machine approval | 2026-11-02 |
| Bevel / angled end | Angle, length/face reference, and specified limits in matching units | Exact machine/head/fixture document and CAM review; measured angle or length | An advertised 3D head is not approval of this bevel, access, or process | LaserCalc Pro drawing/CAM review ledger; actual limits and approval evidence must be user-supplied | Exact drawing, material/profile, machine, fixture, CAM revision, and measured feature only | Review structure only; no sourced manufacturing minimum or machine approval | 2026-11-02 |
| End proximity | Feature-to-end distance and the drawing datum/limit | Actual machine/fixture end-zone review and measured distance | No chuck grip, end-zone, trim, or minimum distance is invented | LaserCalc Pro drawing/CAM review ledger; actual limits and approval evidence must be user-supplied | Exact drawing, material/profile, machine, fixture, CAM revision, and measured feature only | Review structure only; no sourced manufacturing minimum or machine approval | 2026-11-02 |
| Opposite-wall feature | Intended wall(s), orientation, relative location, and specified dimension | Machine/CAM evidence for the intended wall condition plus inspection access/result | Do not assume a through-feature, interior condition, or protected opposite wall | LaserCalc Pro drawing/CAM review ledger; actual limits and approval evidence must be user-supplied | Exact drawing, material/profile, machine, fixture, CAM revision, and measured feature only | Review structure only; no sourced manufacturing minimum or machine approval | 2026-11-02 |
Reference workflow
- Match the job, material, machine head, and quality requirement to a row.
- Confirm the source, review date, and confidence before copying the value into a quote worksheet.
- Use a measured result or current OEM record when the row is marked as required or unverified.
